Hanna Markham

Hanna Markham is a recent graduate of California State University, Fullerton receiving her MA in Communication with an emphasis in Entertainment & Tourism. She was born into a military family where she was raised primarily in San Diego, CA. She received her B.A. in Media Studies at California State University San Marcos with a minor in Women & Gender Studies. She is passionate about LGBTQIA+ representation in all areas of life and has been a primary research topic in her academic endeavors.
For her graduate capstone project, she created a communications audit and best practices guide for a queer nonprofit, in San Diego. She currently has a position as a Marketing Coordinator, while also working part-time at the House of Blues San Diego. Her long term career goals are to enter the music industry to put her vast education to use in helping musicians build their audience through marketing, communication, and overall social media presence.
